THE BREAKTHROUGH
Filtering based on attraction — not just size
The result of that NASA-funded research was nano-alumina filtration.
At its core are ultra-fine ceramic fibers, engineered at the nano scale — so small that hundreds of thousands could fit across a single human hair. The fibers are bonded to microscopic glass strands, forming a dense, tree-like structure with enormous surface area.
As water flows through, the fibers become electropositively charged. Most bacteria, many viruses, and other contaminants carry a negative charge, causing them to be actively drawn in and captured — even when they’re far smaller than traditional filters can block.
This attraction-based process delivers exceptionally high contaminant reduction without restricting flow or increasing pressure loss — overcoming the fundamental limits of size-based filtration.

STAGE ONE
Structural Sediment Defense & Water Conditioning
Stage One prepares the water for everything that follows.
It captures dirt, rust, sand, and sediment before they reach advanced filtration media — protecting downstream performance and preserving flow.
At its center are slow-release phosphate beads that gently condition the water, helping stabilize mineral behavior and reduce scale formation before advanced filtration occurs.
This stage also includes a supporting layer of nano-alumina fibers, providing initial attraction-based capture while reserving the most intensive filtration for Stage Two.
By handling structural filtration and conditioning upfront, Stage One ensures the entire system operates more efficiently and durably over time.
STAGE TWO
Primary Nano-Alumina Capture
Stage Two is the core of the system.
This is where the full nano-alumina filtration media is deployed — built from ultra-fine ceramic fibers arranged in a dense, tree-like structure with massive surface area.
As water passes through, these fibers become electropositively charged, actively attracting and capturing negatively charged contaminants — including most bacteria and many viruses — even when they are far smaller than what traditional filters can physically block.
Because this process relies on attraction rather than tighter pore sizes, Stage Two achieves high contaminant reduction without sacrificing flow or pressure.

Carbon Polishing & Final Refinement
Stage Three is the finishing layer.
It uses high-performance carbon media engineered with a specialized binder that allows more of the carbon’s surface area to contact the water — increasing effectiveness without restricting flow.
This stage reduces chlorine, chloramines, and organic compounds that affect taste, odor, and overall water quality.
After advanced capture in Stage Two, this final layer refines the water — delivering a cleaner, smoother experience throughout the home.
